Why Practice Qi Gong?
Qi Gong is a traditional Daoist healing and cultivation method. It reminds us that all of life is interconnected, that we are between the Earth and the Sky, that the Qi of the Universe is available to us, is within us.
In Daoism, unregulated emotions are considered both a root cause of illness and a path to healing. By combining movement, awareness, intention, and breath, Qi Gong helps regulate emotional energy so that you may release what no longer serves you and invite ease into your physical body and daily life. This practice improves organ function, relieves tension and pain, and reconnects you to the abundance of Qi all around and within you.

What Students are Saying

"Tara is a wonderfully kind and generous teacher of Qi Gong who obviously loves their lineage, has dedicated themself to embodying and sharing its wisdom, and cares deeply about cultivating a supportive community of practitioners. It's been such a gift to learn and practice with them. I've found their classes healing and transformative on so many levels." – ML

"I wasn’t able to attend the classes because of a health issue, but later was able to follow along with the recordings. I really enjoyed how Tara taught and connected the history and philosophy from the lineage with the form, and invited us to really fully engage in it. I could feel a difference after just a few sessions and use the shaking technique regularly even when I’m not feeling up to practicing the form."

"As a complete beginner, this class has been very accessible and not intimidating. I felt challenged but not overwhelmed. This class really helped me connect to my body, energy and the elements. Thank you!"

About the Lineage

Jin Jing Gong, literally the Tendon Channel Cultivation, utilizes Qi generated through engaging the tendons to nourish the Kidney Essence (core life energy) passed down from Master Wang QingYu in Chengdu, China. Dr. Tara Radsliff is a fourth-generation disciple of this tradition, authorized to teach by Heiner Fruehauf, Master Wang’s designated successor.
